Donations to help build strong and healthy communities

In the spirit of giving back, Fiera Private Debt made donations to three organizations to meet specific needs during the holiday season and beyond. Our donations have allowed for:

• the Red Door Family Shelter in Toronto to help support their food program – both in-house and their food banks. The mission of this organization is to provide safe and temporary shelter, as well as essential services to women and children who are fleeing domestic violence, homeless families and refugees;
• the Centre de pédiatrie sociale Laval to offer music therapy to vulnerable children at their three locations in Laval: Place St-Martin, Chomedey and Pont-Viau. This organization contributes to the overall development of children and teenagers with developmental, social or health problems in underprivileged areas;
• the West Scarborough Neighbourhood Community Centre in Toronto to purchase gift cards for holiday hampers that were given to families and to support the food security initiative for seniors, in addition to providing food for the “Breakfast with Santa” event. The Centre provides social, recreational, educational and support programs and services for children, youth, families and seniors.
