Claresholm Solar Project (“Claresholm”) is a 132-megawatt (MWac) solar photovoltaic (PV) project near the town of Claresholm, Alberta.

Fiera Private Debt’s investment was part of a $115 million construction to term financing package. The project is being developed by Capstone Infrastructure in partnership with Denmark-based company, Obton. Once operational, Claresholm will be an important asset in Alberta’s transition to clean electricity generation and will be Canada’s largest solar facility.
